Top Tips: Curated support and resources

Introducing Team Sinclair

Sinclair, our Platinum Supporters, are key members of our community and they always go above and beyond with their fundraising.

There are so, so many reasons why I love supporting Little Lifts,  but one of the main reasons is because I believe it’s so important to help local charities, especially charities starting out and doing such amazing work.”

Within Sinclair, you’ll find a group of passionate and dedicated colleagues (and friends) who despite having busy workloads still find the time to come up with brilliant fundraising ideas! The committee led by Kathryn, Rick, Lee and Jenny works with the wider team to inspire ideas and thoroughly plan events that can be enjoyed by all. Since 2019, the team have taken on the three Yorkshire Peaks, hosted an afternoon tea party, and held various raffles and cake sales. This year, as part of our Corporate Challenge 250 event (an entrepreneurial challenge to turn £250 into £2500 within six months), the team have decided to take on another walking challenge.

Team Sinclair are putting on their walking boots and hiking 23.5 miles on the 30th of April from Cromer Pier to Winterton Beach which they have calculated will take them over 12 hours! They have managed to sign up 30 colleagues, friends and family who are all fundraising for us. The event as always has been meticulously organised, and we cannot thank them enough for taking this on for Little Lifts.

Rick, Health and Safety Manager, explains their motivation:

“There are so, so many reasons why I love supporting Little Lifts, but one of the main reasons is because I believe it’s so important to help local charities, especially charities starting out and doing such amazing work.

“The incredible Little Lifts team work so hard to ensure ladies going through chemotherapy treatment are given those ‘Little Lifts’ at a time when they must feel so scared, confused and vulnerable.

“I also see first-hand just how passionate, dedicated, full of energy and innovative the team is. I personally find it really inspiring and therefore want to do my bit to ensure this amazing charity is able to do everything it wishes to do and provide support when it’s needed.”
