littlelifts Virtual Sports Day

Save the UK’s Charities and join in with The 2.6 Challenge.

Join us for a day of activities and help raise funds to continue supporting women with breast cancer during Covid-19.

What is The 2.6 Challenge?

The 2.6 Challenge will launch on Sunday 26 April – what should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon, the world’s biggest one-day annual fundraising event. The idea is to take on an activity around the numbers 2.6 or 26, that’s why, thanks to incredible members of our #littleliftscommunity, we have organised our first ever online Sunday Funday Sports Day.

We have a great day lined up, for a donation (big or small) you can have access to it all.

Each activity will be led by a qualified fitness instructor and is suitable for all fitness levels. It will revolve around the number 26, whether that’s 26 reps, 26 seconds or 26 minutes. To take part, simply click the donate button where you will find our varied and energetic timetable, make a donation and join in throughout the day.

Why is it important to be part of this national campaign to Save the UK’s Charities?

The Covid-19 pandemic is having a catastrophic effect on UK charities leading to an estimated loss of £4 billion for the sector. Charities, like littlelifts, depend on income from fundraising events and thousands have been cancelled or postponed including our clubbercise event, golf day, fashion show, cupcake masterclass…the list goes on and on! Sunday 26th April would have seen us raise funds at the London Marathon thanks to our superstar runners and it provides a huge opportunity for other charities to receive funds and awareness.

Breast cancer doesn’t stop during Covid-19 and we are working hard so that women can still receive our littlelifts boxes across our hospital partnerships in Norfolk and Suffolk – they are needed now more than ever. Each box is hand packed with love and provides women with practical support and promotes emotional well-being. We are determined we can get through this. Can you help us?
