Becky, a member of Dynamic Fitness and close friend and supporter of Little Lifts, loved running. She also loved helping others and regularly supported Little Lifts and their events.

“Our event on Sunday was to remember one of our very good clients Becky Bowers (39 years old), who passed away from cancer earlier this year. Becky was a very keen runner and has taken part in every Dynamic Fitness running event over the last 12 years. Therefore, we decided it would be fitting to host a running event in her memory – The Becky Bowers Dynamic 5k. All the money raised will be given to local cancer charity, Little Lifts, and we have raised over £1k so far for this great cause. “
On Sunday 24th October, with support from Total Race Timing, over 50 people took on the Dynamic 5k in Norwich, starting on Ber Street before heading down Carrow Hill towards Kings Street and over the bridge along the river towards the Cathedral. Looping back out of the cathedral and along the river, the run saw participants finish the 5k running up Thorn Lane.
John Ives, Becky’s partner, took on the challenge with support from his family and friends. He said:
“Sadly, Becky passed away from secondary breast cancer in May aged only 39. Becky loved her running and personal training sessions with Ross at Dynamic Fitness, and always attended their events. When they offered to put on this year’s Dynamic 5k as a memorial for her, this seemed like an amazing idea as it’s something she loved to do and would also be helping to raise awareness of breast cancer. The funds raised support a great local charity that Becky was very close to. It was a fantastic event and we all enjoyed running for Becky. I personally want to thank Ross and Dynamic Fitness for organising such a special day, and to all those who volunteered and supported on the day.”
