Our Big Dip Challenge is back - here's our team and supporters doing their own dip last year! 🌊 A cold water dipping challenge, the perfect health kickstart to a New Year. And this best part? You are helping us to make a difference to people affected by breast cancer.

A special feel it on the first from us here at Little Lifts thanks to the amazing @littlegreenpaintcompany 💕

The brilliant team at Little Greene made us our very own Little Lifts pink after selecting us as one of their chosen charities for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A special thank you to them for raising vital funds to help us support people affected by breast cancer with a thoughtfully curated gift Box.

We had so much fun getting our team, trustees, volunteers, supporters, corporates and more involved in this special piece, drawing their chest on the painted canvas!

What a great reminder to check your chest for our new office space, we cannot wait to get it up on the wall! 🎨

Our incredible (and sometimes crazy!) Founder Oa along with Ops & Support Manager Lizzie hosted a 24-hour Packing Party! 🎁 They packed Boxes for 24 hours, welcoming our wonderful supporters to join them packing Boxes for people facing surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer.

A big thank you to @insurance_with for sponsoring the event and to @deck_above and @onestopstoresuk for your kind support! Our amazing DJs Andrew, @harps362 and Claudia provided all the tunes 💕

Over 600 Boxes were packed ready to be gifted, that’s 611 people who we hope will feel more prepared, supported and loved as they begin treatment!

This is challenge 7 of 10 that Oa has completed as part of her Ten for Ten Challenges, marking her ten year cancerversary whilst raising awareness and funds.

Oa says: “This is one of my favourite challenges so far because it involved so many people who our make our community so extraordinary! A huge thank to our sponsors Insurance With for sponsoring this event. It was a 24-hour period filled with a lot of energy, love and Box packing! Big thanks to my side kick Lizzie and team for supporting my (crazy) idea!” 💕

It's our 7th Birthday! 🎂 What a journey Little Lifts has been on in the last 7 years from Oa's kitchen table to Little Lifts HQ.

Today marks 7 years since the first ever Little Lifts Box was delivered, we have now delivered over 25,000 Little Lifts Boxes to people across the UK facing treatment for breast cancer.

Little Lifts was born from the kindness, love and care from our founder Oa's friends and family. This kindness continues to run through every vein of our work and is at the pulse of our community. From Oa's idea to ensure everyone feels the way she did during her treatment, we continue to strive to make a real difference to people affected by breast cancer.

This year is a significant year for our founder, Oa, as she marks her ten year cancerversary. This has prompted her to take on ten challenges to raise both awareness and funds. As a team we are aiming to gift 10,000 carefully curated Boxes this year alone.

Behind every Box is a person and their loved ones facing treatment, that we hope will feel more prepared, thought about and loved.

Some milestones from the year:
- We delivered our 20,000th Little Lifts Box
- We began offering wellness events
- We launched our new online portal for The Little Kindness Fund
- Our Surgery Box became available to anyone in the UK
- We held our first ever Retreat for people living with Secondary Breast Cancer

Thank you to each and every one of you from our amazing #LittleLiftsCommunity whether you have been with us from the beginning or joined us later, we cannot do what we do without your kind support.

We are proud to share more about our first ever Little Lifts Retreat for people living with secondary breast cancer, launched with support from @baldbooblessandbeautiful our amazing Ambassador 🥰

The Retreat took place at @norfolk.bound and was a lovely opportunity to connect, relax and unwind.

'A retreat for the secondary community is something I have wanted to do for a few years and thanks to funds raised at my 10 year cancerversary party and the incredible charity Little Lifts, we finally pulled our very first one off. Bringing together 12 women all living with secondary breast cancer for a relaxing and enjoyable 3 days was just wonderful. To watch the connections being made and the friendships forming really shows how important these things are, to be in a safe space, where everyone just gets it. It may have been just 3 days, but these connections will last a lifetime, and I feel so happy and proud to have inspired these retreats to begin. I hope we can continue with them for years to come.' - Laura Middleton-Hughes
