Women of the Year Lunch and Awards 2026 | Oa’s Nomination

We are pleased to share that our Founder, Oa, has been recognised for Little Lifts’ work at the 2026 Women of the Year event.

Honouring women’s leadership since 1955, this prestigious event was held at the Royal Lancaster in London and celebrated 400 women who take extraordinary action every day to make their communities and the world a better place. This nomination was especially meaningful because it came after Sally Orange MBE received her own Little Lifts Box through our Little Kindness Fund during her breast cancer treatment.

Here's what Oa says:

“It was a privilege to be invited to this event and to be acknowledged for the work of Little Lifts alongside other women who strive to make a difference every day. It was joyous, inspiring, and full of genuine kindness, but I couldn’t have experienced it without the continuous support and belief in Little Lifts from my family, friends, team, trustees, and ever-growing, incredible Little Lifts Community!”

“Thank you, Sally, for the nomination, and to my fellow table guests for making the event so much fun. It was lovely to speak with Amy Dowden, who does so much to support the breast cancer community.”

“Hearing Gisele Pelicot accept her Woman of Courage Award was a moment I will never forget, and her powerful message that ‘shame must change sides’. Thank you, WOTY event team, for making the day so special for us all!”
