We were delighted to announce our first-ever Fitness Festival hosted with amazing Amy from Tribe ALL Fitness at Epic Studios.
Over 100 people joined us for 4 hours of nonstop fitness, followed by a relaxing sound bath.
Together, our participants raised over £9,000 to support people affected by breast cancer!
We started by welcoming our amazing participants, which included some new faces who we were delighted to welcome into the Little Lifts Community, as well as beneficiaries, volunteers and supporters.
Everyone was welcome to enjoy our glitter bar for free, and it was wonderful to see people connecting and laughing before the event started.
There were four fitness sessions over the course of the day, all hosted by Amy and led by amazing members of her community:
TOTALLY SHREDDED – this is a high impact low complexity workout to d&b
KONGA – is an easy to follow dance cardio workout
CLUBBERCISE – is a lower impact fitness with glowsticks and a 90s soundtrack
DANCE FITNESS DISCO 80s-TODAY – this is super fun, simple but effective fitness for ALL abilities, the perfect party ending to a fun-packed day
We were blown away by everyone’s energy, enthusiasm and smiles – through four tough hours of fitness!
Over the course of the day, there were lots of snacks and refreshments on offer, thanks to One Stop and Asda Hall Road.
We finished the event with a relaxing sound bath from Hayley at Serenity Touch.
Shopie set out organising this event back in 2025, before passing her role onto amazing Tor! This was the first event they had worked on together.
Shopie:
• Can you describe the event in three words?
“Energetic, tribal and momentous.”
• What was your highlight?
“The constant sea of smiles and sweat!”
• Anything that you would like to add?
“We would love to thank everyone who took part in the epic event. Your energy and passion were infectious, and you all smashed it with smiles on your faces. Thank you for being part of our first-ever Fitness Festival. See you all next year.”
Tor:
• What was it like hosting your first event?
“Exciting! I felt like a child on Christmas Eve the night before, and despite the early start, I was eager to get going on Sunday morning. It was fantastic to meet so many people, chat about their reasons for taking part, see some familiar faces, and spread so much joy! Amy was just the best to work with – I’ve never met anyone with energy levels quite like hers!”
• What was your highlight?
“Mid-way through the third session, I took a breather and looked around at a sea of smiling faces, all still giving it 100% – it was the best feeling! To host an event that brings so much joy, while helping Little Lifts to achieve its vision that no one should face breast cancer treatment alone, is incredibly special. I still can’t believe I get to call this work.”
• Is there anything that you would like to add?
“Huge thanks to everyone who came along and supported this event. Bringing such high energy and positive vibes (even so early on a Sunday morning!) truly brought it to life. I was blown away by how much money was raised through their dedication and fundraising efforts. This is a very special community, and I feel incredibly grateful to be part of it. We couldn’t do this without you!”
Our participants blew us away with their fundraising efforts! Collectively raising over £4,500, which contributed to a staggering final total of over £9,000.
We cannot thank Amy from Tribe ALL Fitness enough, she absolutely smashed it! The event would not have been possible without her and her continued support.
