Every day, our small but mighty team works behind the scenes to make sure people affected by breast cancer feel supported, seen and cared for. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on George Diggle, our Admin & Support Coordinator, who’s been part of the Little Lifts family since September 2021. We asked him some questions below, so that you can learn more about him and his role.
“My favourite way to start the day is by opening up the rooms and the office and drinking my cup of tea in the peace and quiet of the early morning.”

“A typical day for me includes editing spreadsheets, typing up kind feedback from our beneficiaries, uploading, booking, and printing off labels for our Royal Mail collection, and looking after the volunteers on my designated days.”

“Getting to work alongside the volunteers, catching up with them, and getting to know more about them.”

“I secretly enjoy working on complicated spreadsheets, ones that actively engage and challenge me.”

“To communicate, because no one is a mind reader.”

“Hyper focused, goal-driven, detail orientated.”

“A selfless and hard working community who always go above and beyond. It is a place where people can feel welcomed, understood and cared about regardless of who they are. In a world filled with dread and uncertainty, Little Lifts is a little sparkle of light to help people guide them along their journey.”

Thank you for being such a brilliant part of the team, George! Look out for a spotlight post each month to learn more about our small but mighty team.
