The Big Dip 2023

The Little Lifts Big Dip Challenge took place throughout the month of January. Our Big Dippers braved the icy waters, doing one dip or more during January raising nearly 3K to support people with breast cancer!

We had some star fundraisers: Hannah Drew-Robinson, Emma Shears, Hannah Besant, Coral & Sapphire, Claudia Bartram, Olivia Newstead and Marion Bensley – a HUGE thank you to you all for your incredible support.

From streams and dip pods to rivers and the sea, they did it all for Little Lifts!

The Big Dip was an opportunity to both improve wellness and help to support people with breast cancer. What an amazing achievement for you all, you sure know how to start a new year!

Hannah Drew-Robinson was our top fundraiser this year, raising an amazing £1,170! Hannah took part in the Big Dip in memory of her lovely mum, Charlotte, who received a Box and sadly passed away in March 2019.

Here’s what Hannah said about her Big Dip experience: ‘The Big Dip was a good achievement for me after waiting so long to take part in a Little Lifts Fundraiser. It was cold, freezing and hurt but felt good afterwards. It was a really refreshing feeling and made better knowing it was to help a good cause. It is a really rewarding thing to do seeing how much money you can raise, it’s great and feels so good afterwards. I would encourage other people to take part, even if you don’t think you can.’

Below are some lovely photos sent in by fundraisers and our Little Lifts Team.

Thank you to everyone who took part and to everyone who made a donation. We couldn’t do what we do without your kind support!

We can’t wait to see what The Big Dip 2024 brings.
