The Big Dip 2024 – breast cancer fundraising

The Little Lifts Big Dip Challenge took place throughout the month of January. Our Big Dippers braved the icy waters, doing one dip or more during January fundraising over £1,600 to support people with breast cancer!

From streams and dip pods to rivers and the sea, they did it all for Little Lifts! One of our dippers Chris even did an icy plunge in Norway, raising nearly £800!

The Big Dip was an opportunity to both improve wellness and help to support people with breast cancer. What an amazing achievement for you all, you sure know how to start a new year!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part for your incredible support and helping us to support more people receiving breast cancer treatment.

Our very own Lizzie took part this year, here’s what she said about the fundraising challenge:

‘Not only during the Big Dip was I raising funds for this amazing charity, it was also great for my own wellbeing and got me out having fun with friends. Bring on the cold! Massive thanks to the people that funded me, I would encourage other people to take on a challenge as you are making a difference to others whilst pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.’

Big thanks to Fourth Element who kindly donated a Storm Poncho for our competition draw amongst our amazing dippers! Chris, who did some of his dips in Norway was our lucky winner.

Below are some lovely photos sent in by fundraisers and our Little Lifts Team.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this fundraising challenge and to everyone who made a donation, you are helping us to make a difference in the lives of people with breast cancer. We couldn’t do what we do without your kind support!

We can’t wait to see what The Big Dip 2025 brings.
