This event never fails to blow us away. Our community came together to celebrate our incredible models, all of whom have been affected by breast cancer. The evening was filled with joy, fun and love, all whilst helping to raise funds for those impacted by breast cancer. The dedicated teams at John Lewis Norwich styled our models and transformed the venue into a stunning showcase.
The kindness and generosity of our (over 250!) guests meant that we raised over £4,800. These funds will greatly expand our reach, providing more Little Lifts Boxes to people affected by breast cancer across the UK.
This year, 18 inspiring models shared their unique experiences with breast cancer on the runway. Each one exhibited strength, beauty, and individuality, embodying the spirit of resilience.
Our models enjoyed pampering sessions, with their makeup, skincare, hair and fragrance taken care of by John Lewis Beauty and GHD Norwich, as well as Bea Coloured, Courage and Noble and Grow Barbershop. They were treated to refreshments, relaxation areas, and gorgeous goodie bags.
These lovely, thoughtful touches ensured our models felt like VIPs all day. We love being able to give back to our breast cancer community, and the John Lewis Team ensured everyone was pampered and relaxed.
The John Lewis teams (as always) were incredible!
VM transformed the space into a beautiful floral fantasy, ready to welcome our guests. The team also had the logistical challenge of seating over 250 people. Thank you for always pulling it out of the bag.
Our fabulous team and volunteers greeted our guests with warmth before mingling and taking their seats.
Models showcased two gorgeous looks in four sets. This year’s runway was electric as fun, smiles… and a lot of dancing filled the runway! We love getting to watch each model have their own special moment as they take to the catwalk. Special thanks to Jan for sharing her inspiring breast cancer story during the show.
Our charity simply could not do what we do without the belief, support and enthusiasm of our Little Lifts Community. Our Fashion Show with the John Lewis team is a wonderful celebration of our charitable work and community, as well as a platform to raise awareness. This event is so important as it represents different experiences of breast cancer. No one person’s experience is the same; we have both individuals who have had breast cancer and their loved ones who take to the runway. Among these are individuals who have been part of our community for a long time, as well as those who have joined more recently. We are honoured to have each and every one of them join us for this special event.
A BIG thank you to you all!
