We were so excited to host this breast cancer charity event, set in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside. It was a fantastic day dedicated to raising funds to support people with breast cancer.
We were thrilled to sell out of spaces again this year, with over 360 people registering to join us! Our Trail Run was divided into three lengths: 10k, 20k, and 30k. The event began with a warm-up session led by our incredible beneficiary and volunteer, Amy from Tribe All Fitness.
This year graced us with some more challenging weather (windy and cold), which our runners did amazingly well to push through, all with big smiles on their faces! The atmosphere was just brilliant, so thanks to you all for being such a wonderful part of our Little Lifts Community.
This year, you have blown us away with your fundraising efforts, collectively raising over £7,800 to support people affected by breast cancer. We cannot thank you enough!
Our founder, Oa, participated in the 10k route this year, dressed as a giant Little Lifts Box, accompanied by Amy in a giant boob costume. This was part of Oa’s ‘Ten for Ten Challenge’ to mark her 10-year cancerversary. She aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and vital funds to support our work.
“I wanted to mark this milestone by raising awareness and to celebrate all that Little Lifts has achieved during this time. Fundraising activities are often challenges, as they convey the level of resilience a person facing cancer may have to endure. That’s why a series of little (and not so little) challenges felt like the best fit for this fundraiser. We’ve even created a giant Little Lifts Box, to feature in each challenge, which is synonymous to how Little Lifts Boxes have been alongside people during their own personal challenges.” – Oa Hackett
Oa’s Little Lifts Box was made by the brilliant team at Thompson Packaging and sponsored by our amazing supporters.
In total, over £19,500 was raised to support people with breast cancer, which is incredible!
We extend a special thanks to our title sponsors Loveday & Partners and Rogers & Norton, as well as Norfolk Cordial, and generous landowners including Mr. and Mrs. Courtauld of Barningham Estate.
Crush Foods, Candi’s Cupboard, Mindful Mixology, Norfolk Jar Kitchen, Norfolk Doggy Deli, Norfolk Brewhouse, Bluck Shuck Ltd, The Kitsch Hen, Vander L Feeds Limited and Jinny Ngui Design.
Lastly, we couldn’t do what we do without our volunteers. Thank you for keeping our runners safe and motivated.
Thank you for helping us continue making a difference to those affected by breast cancer.
