Breast Cancer Charity Corporate Fundraising Teams

Eight Corporate Teams Raise £39,000 for Breast Cancer Support

Our Corporate Challenge 250 teams finished their fundraising for 2025-2026, overwhelming us with the funds raised to support people affected by breast cancer. Today, we are celebrating these incredible teams who have worked with creativity and passion to exceed all expectations.

A huge congratulations to our hardworking teams from The New Homes Group, Sinclair International Ltd, The Goat Shed, and Aviva, who took on fundraisers from traitor games, hoe downs, bake sales, pet photo competitions to move-a-thons to very stormy hikes. Our teams worked tirelessly to raise vital awareness and funds for our small charity, proving what teamwork and determination can achieve. With an overall event target of £20,000 (or £2,500 per team), our teams exceeded expectations, raising a staggering £39,000. These teams are a true example that a little kindness can go a long way! This year’s teams have really showcased what can happen when amazing people come together to support a common cause.

Tom from our winning team, The Handfuls, has this to say about the challenge:

“The New Homes Group Part Exchange team – better known as The Handfuls – has absolutely loved getting involved in Challenge 250 for Little Lifts. From our own charity shop, to quizzes and bake sales, a sunny summer fete, a brilliant comedy night, and even our very own office version of The Traitors, the team has thrown themselves into every activity with enthusiasm (and plenty of laughs). Thanks to the team’s creativity and generosity, we’ve raised a fantastic amount, and we’re proud to know it will help Little Lifts deliver even more of their wonderful support boxes to people who really need them.”

Breast Cancer Charity Fundraising Supporters Sinclair

Team Sinclair has both believed in and supported this challenge since the beginning and never ceases to amaze with their meticulous planning and map-reading skills:

‘Team Sinclair stepped up once again last year in support of Little Lifts’ Challenge 250. It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together to do something fun and to champion the amazing work of this small but mighty charity.

Earlier in the year, our summer Move‑a‑thon united more than 50 colleagues across Sinclair UK and Europe to complete a virtual 6,500 km journey,  across 6 countries in 6 weeks. People walked, swam, cycled, walked dogs and even crocheted their way to the finish line.

Another highlight was our Peak District Hike in October – in the tail end of Storm Amy! Undeterred by the weather, we had to switch routes at the last minute but still choose one that would challenge every one of us. With a Plan B in action,  we powered through 20 miles of wind, rain and the odd burst of sunshine with sweeping views, and plenty of sheep for company. It was a fantastic display of resilience, problem solving and personal accomplishment.

Together, these two challenges showed the strength, creativity and spirit of Team Sinclair to support the amazing work of Little Lifts.’

Celebrating our fundraising teams

This amazing array of fundraising events was celebrated at our Challenge 250 2025-2026 Awards. We held this gathering at Little Lifts HQ, which was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our teams, whilst they got a look behind the scenes. Our teams were presented with certificates by our Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager, Shopie, and even packed some Little Lifts Gift Boxes!

The impact of fundraising support

Little Lifts provides carefully curated gift Boxes to people receiving breast cancer treatment across the UK. Our Boxes are jam-packed with items to help alleviate the emotional and physical side effects of treatment.
With the support of these incredible teams, we can give 663 Little Lifts Boxes to those who need them. Behind each Box is a person who we hope feels more prepared, supported and loved as they begin treatment for breast cancer.
As a small charity, this final total is remarkable and will make a huge difference to those affected by breast cancer!

The power of corporate fundraising

We cannot thank these wonderful corporate teams enough for their support both during Challenge 250 and beyond!

The success of the Corporate Challenge 250 is a testament to the power of corporate philanthropy. Eight teams, £250 each in seed funding, and a whole lot of determination led to a £39,000 fundraising total. This incredible achievement is an incredible example of how businesses can come together to support causes and make a real difference.

We are now looking for corporates to get involved in our 2026-2027 Challenge 250, and we would love to tell you more, so please get in touch by emailing corporate@littlelifts.org.uk or you can sign up here.
