2025 Reflections from Breast Cancer Charity Founder

Oa, our Founder, reflects on 2025, sharing some highlights of spreading kindness to people affected by breast cancer.

The Big Dip 2024 – breast cancer fundraising

The Big Dip is a January fundraising event to support help people with breast cancer. Our incredible Little Lifts Community took to the icy waters, fundraising over £1,600 to support people with a gift Box.

Amazing Dance Fitness Marathon Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Incredible Amy hosted an amazing Dance Fitness Marathon Fundraiser to support more people with breast cancer, after receiving her Little Lifts gift Box.

Corporate Challenge 250 Winners 2023

Our Corporate Challenge 250 has now come to a close. We cannot thank Saxon Air, Cim Signs and Sinclair enough for their dedication, raising a huge total of £12,562 to support people with breast cancer!

Our shop is filled with goodies, and with your support, we can spread kindness to people affected by breast cancer 💕

🎁 For people affected by cancer, we have our treatment Boxes for chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery.

🥰 For our wider community, we have our Mini But Mighty Boxes. These Boxes are perfect for a little TLC and mood-boosting lift; choose from Restore, Nourish and Boost.

🐦 For anyone who would like a treat, we have our series of bird pins, awareness pins, special edition boob tea towel, tote bags, postcards, and notebooks.

👚 For people who would like to wear their support, there are white cotton t-shirts and black sports t-shirts.

It's a big one! 📢 We are delighted to announce that our Surgery Box will now be available at @jamespagethospital for anyone undergoing lumpectomy or mastectomy surgery following a breast cancer diagnosis.

Here's our super Operations and Support Manager, Lizzie, delivering the first Surgery Boxes to the brilliant team. A milestone we are so proud of! 🎁

Thanks to the kind support from the Paul Bassham Charitable Trust, people will automatically receive our Surgery Box to help them prepare. The Box is jam-packed with helpful items to provide both practical and emotional support, including a flannel, hand sanitiser and moisturiser, as well as chocolate, sleep mist, and a heated eye mask.

A huge thank you to everyone at James Paget University Hospital for helping to spread kindness 💕

We recently welcomed some of the team from @thenewhomesgroup_ our corporate partners, to Little Lifts HQ 💕

They spent the morning with us, learning about our work and hearing from Trish about what Little Lifts means to her. They then packed some Little Lifts Boxes, ready for delivery to West Suffolk Hospital @westsuffolknhs

As well as giving up their time to volunteer, five teams across the business have joined our Corporate Challenge 250 fundraising initiative and have been busy organising a variety of fundraising activities, which we will share more of soon!

WOW, what a day! We hosted our first-ever Fitness Festival 🥳

On Sunday, we brought over 100 people together for four hours of non-stop fitness thanks to the amazing @tribeallfitness

It was an incredible day filled with smiles, fun and community, shared with a brilliant bunch of people who collectively helped us to raise over £9,600 (and counting!) to support people affected by breast cancer 💕

We cannot thank Amy from @tribeallfitness enough, you absolutely smashed it, this event would not have been possible without you and your continued support!

We are delighted to share more with you from our second Little Lifts Retreat for people living with secondary breast cancer 🥰

We spent three days and two nights enjoying the beautiful Norfolk countryside, a sound bath, yoga, music, crafting, pampering, delicious food and lots of laughter with our wonderful beneficiaries. This was an opportunity to connect, form community, talk and enjoy some relaxing time away from medical appointments and normal day-to-day life.

We cannot thank Laura @baldbooblessandbeautiful enough for her ongoing support, coupled with a donation in memory of Jo Ashford, and our brilliant hosts @sedgefordhallestate who made our Retreat possible.

Today is Brew Monday, and we wanted to spread a smile at HQ! ☺️ We got involved by making a cuppa and having a check-in.

@samaritanscharity founded Brew Monday in response to the third Monday of the year, which is considered the most difficult. Samaritans encourage people to get together and talk over a cuppa.

We all have good days and bad days, so be sure to check in on your friends, families, colleagues, and loved ones today and throughout the year.

We were delighted to attend the launch of @eufloria_drink 🎉

Eufloria is a sugar-free sparkling, non alcoholic botanical drink company founded by Amy and Kerri. They were inspired to start Eufloria after being diagnosed with breast cancer and were looking for a healthy alternative to alcohol.

Amy and Kerri are beneficiaries of Little Lifts Boxes and have been incredible supporters of our small charity. They will be donating 1% of sales to support our work.

Say hello to Emma, who received Little Lifts Surgery and Radiotherapy Boxes from @norfolkandnorwichhospital 🤗

Emma is a life coach living in the countryside with two primary-age girls and her husband. She was diagnosed with stage one grade one breast cancer in her right breast. Initially, she was going to receive a lumpectomy, but the cancer had spread across her whole breast. She underwent a mastectomy with lymph node removal and three weeks of radiotherapy.

Emma said her Boxes made her feel: 'Like someone knew how I was feeling. That I wasn’t alone.' She particularly enjoyed her @spacemasks and @moogooskincareuk moisturiser.

Emma's Top Tips:
⭐ Schedule rest for around two weeks post radiotherapy treatment. Often people feel okay during, but fatigue and feeling ‘groggy’ can hit hard around a fortnight after completion.
⭐ Moisturise your skin like there’s no tomorrow! Use MooGoo as soon as you are able to post-op, so you can start supporting your skin through radio.
⭐ Prioritise yourself. It’s not selfish. It’s essential. There will be many times in your life that you can support the ones you love, but now is about you, your treatment and your recovery. Ask for help. Advocate for yourself. You need to protect your energy and time.

Emma added: ‘Throughout my journey this year, I have been writing a book called ‘Thriving with cancer, kids and other crap’. I’m really passionate about getting it to the people that need it most because I know it can support so many through, not just cancer, but any time of trauma. It’s about how to choose optimism and joy and real, practical ways to do so.’

We are thrilled to bring back this fantastic event for the fourth year. It’s going to be bigger and better than ever, with three routes set in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside on private land

📍 Barningham Estate, Matlaske, North Norfolk
🏃 Course lengths: 10km, 20km, 30km
