Fundraising takeover: Sinclair staff aim to raise £5,000

Sinclair are a fabulous bunch! Between November 2018 and October 2019, staff will be given dedicated time out of their working days to raise money for littlelifts. Led by Rick Stefanetti, Lee Clements and Kathryn Woods on the littlelifts events committee, they hope to raise £5,000.

Their first event was the Christmas littlelifts box packing party. Staff from across the business enjoyed Christmas tunes and plenty of cake, taking part in a raffle and packing a total of 58 littlelifts boxes. Also on hand to talk about her experiences and help pack was Charlotte Ireland, who received a box when she underwent chemotherapy treatment at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in 2017.

Rick explains Sinclair’s motivation: “There are so, so many reasons why I love supporting littlelifts, but one of the main reasons is because I believe it’s so important to help local charities, especially charities starting out and doing such amazing work.

“The incredible littlelifts team work so hard to ensure ladies going through chemotherapy treatment are given those ‘littlelifts’ at a time when they must feel so scared, confused and vulnerable.

“I also see first-hand just how passionate, dedicated, full of energy and innovative the team is. I personally find it really inspiring and therefore want to do my bit to ensure this amazing charity is able to do everything it wishes to do and provide support when it’s needed.”

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Sinclair for raising £264 at the packing party and for letting our founder Oa have the opportunity to speak over the tannoy – of course playing the xylophone was a real highlight!
