Hannah was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer and has undergone surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy treatment. Like many people navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, Hannah found that small acts of support made a big difference to how she coped day to day. She described her Chemotherapy Box as “well thought out” and “amazing.”

During her chemotherapy treatment, Hannah learned how to crochet, a hobby she loved and continues to pursue. Additionally, she finds joy in practising yoga and qigong. Finding a creative outlet or gentle movement practice is something many of the people we support say helped them in recovery from breast cancer treatment.
Hannah’s top tip for breast cancer treatment
“After treatment is when you need all the support you can get. Don’t beat yourself up for still feeling tired and not like yourself. Your body and mind are still repairing.”

Starting her own business after breast cancer treatment
Hannah has used her experience with breast cancer to inspire her own business, Elliegance, alongside her friend Ellie, who has also faced cancer. Together, they create lash and brow serums designed to help people regain confidence in their natural beauty while dealing with the side effects of chemotherapy, helping those who have lost their eyelashes and eyebrows during treatment. £1 from every product sold is donated to cancer charities, including Little Lifts, a cause close to Hannah’s heart, as “it helped me when I needed it.”
